Statistical & Informative Commands

Description: nfl!player [first-name] [last-name] || this command retrieves basic information for any current player, including height, weight, age, team, age, and draft-year. This command also work for current free agents, back-up players, etc.

Example: "nfl!player Joe Burrow" yields basic player information for the Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow.

Description: nfl![team] || this command retrieves advanced details and statistics for any team in the season prior. Such details and statistics include significant organization positions, offensive statistics, defensive statistics, and historical records. Note: `team` must be abbreviated to three letters (for all three letter team abbreviations, type "nfl!guide").

Example: "nfl!chi" yields details and statistics for the 2021-2022 Chicago Bears.

Description: nfl!game [game-type] [home-team] [away-team] || this command retrieves basic game information for any game in the season prior or the current season, including team scores, date, and statistical winners. `game-type` includes: "regular" (regular season games), "pre" (preseason games), "post" (postseason games). Note: `away-team` & `home-team` must be abbreviated to three letters (for all three letter team abbreviations, type "nfl!guide").

Example: "nfl!game regular CHI GB" yields basic game information for the 2021 week 6 game of the Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears.

Description: nfl!week-[week-number] || this command retrieves all game scores for any week in the current regular season. `week-number` is an integer between 1 through 18, inclusive. Note: this command would not work for weeks in the upcoming future.

Example: "nfl!week-15" yields all game scores for week 15 in the 2021-2022 season.

This command does not account for roster changes during the current season (including injuries, player swaps, or others). Note: `team` must be abbreviated to three letters (for all three letter team abbreviations, type "nfl!guide").

Example: "nfl!det-starters" yields the initial starting roster for the 2022-2023 Detroit Lions.

Description: nfl![award]-[year] || this command retrieves award winners stemming from the specific year and specific award type. `award` includes: "MVP" (Most Valuable Player), "OPOY" (Offensive Player of the Year), "DPOY" (Defensive Player of the Year), "OROY" (Offensive Rookie of the Year), "DROY" (Defensive Rookie of the Year), "CPOY" (Comeback Player of the Year), "COTY" (Coach of the Year). `year` is an integer between 2015 through 2021, inclusive.
